CANSHIELD AIMS TO EXPAND DATA CENTER POWER CAPACITY
June 12th 2018
CanShield is delighted to announce that its Kamloops data center was recently given approval from BC Hydro to expand to 4 MW of power. This puts CanShield in a unique position to provide high density colocation and disaster recovery services from interior British Columbia.
“Having access to clean energy in a seismically stable area are a few reasons why firms choose CanShield’s Kamloops based data center” said George Emery, CEO of CanShield. “4 MW of total power means our clients can deploy pretty much any cabinet power requirement, while continuing to benefit from CanShield’s customer centric environment”.
CanShield’s ability to grow and deploy additional power capacity allows our customers to expand their operations as quickly as they need. CanShield expects to complete the power increase in 2019.
